Percussive masters perform creative and powerful improvisations with complex rhythmic patterns. In disc (I) Pourmehdi's performance is creative and powerful, yet it is loyal to the roots and traditions. This original composition is based on the rhythms of spiritual ceremonies at Sufi house in Iran (Zekr, Sama). In disc (II) Pourmehdi & Bergamo, the percussive masters are moving beyond language with complex rhythmic patterns.
