Pedro Eustache

is a Venezuelan born openly creative solo flautist-"World-Music" woodwinds-reeds-wind synthesizers and composer, with a unique, richly eclectic, multi-directional personal voice. His musical language is the direct result of years of both solid studies and professional experience in the classical-European, African-American [Jazz], World-Music, Popular, Folklore and Computer/Electronic music art-forms.He graduated in classical and Avnet-garde flute from several European Conservatories, has more than seven years of Symphonic experience and received a M.F.A. in Jazz performance from the California Institute of the Art. Pedro has studied in various disciplines, notably with legendary Indian geniuses Pt. Ravi Shankar and Pt. Rajeev Taranath, Pt. Hariprasad Chaurasia, Classical Persian Nay with maestro Houman Pourmehdi, as well as with Armenian Duduk phenomenon maestro Djivan Gasparian. As a solo artist, Pedro has two South American Jazz CDs, and just finished his third one, "Global Vision". Among many others, he has toured and recorded with flautist James Newton, Latin Pop Super-star Shakira, Don Henley, Persian super-star Googoosh, Dariush, and has been the featured soloist for Yanni since 1995. He has a collection of around 600 instruments from all over the world, many of which have been uniquely designed and built by him. Pedro publicly thanks the Almighty for his gifts, and dedicates his art to "The One" who validates the purpose of his existence: to "The Father of Lights", source of all creativity, Joy and peace.
