Lisa Lynne Franco

"Heartspace." That's what Lisa Lynne calls the loving, spiritual embrace of family, friends, and of course, music. Through music, Lisa has brought her own heartspace to countless listeners, each enchanted by the magical sound of her Celtic harp.

As a child growing up in Southern California, Lisa showed a strong interest in classical and folk music, teaching herself to play any instrument she could find. Her interest in acoustic guitar and mandolin, grew into a love of progressive rock.

As a teen, she began to write and perform music on guitar and bass for various bands. After attending college as a music major, she studied bass guitar at the Musicians Institute of Technology in Hollywood California, and began working in the local studios as a session musician.

In 1985, while playing Mandolin at the Renaissance faire, she discovered the Celtic Harp, and fell in love with the instrument. Soon after, she landed a European record contract, and released four albums of her instrumental compositions. She then started her own record company, and released four more albums. She was then signed by Windham Hill records, where her past two releases topped the Billboard charts. Her album "Seasons of the Soul" topped the radio airplay charts for five consecutive months, including two months at #1.

Lisa Lynne has been touring nonstop for the past six years, performing her original music at the countries finest concert venues and art festivals. Lisa also teaches workshops on harp performance and music business, inspiring new harp players of every age. In addition, she is active in the harp therapy movement, using sound and music vibration to promote healing and well being.
